Road works within Wellington region.

SH2: Dowse to Petone Project. Work on this major commenced in August 2007 and is due for completion mid-2010. The 2.7km site stretches from the Petone overbridge to just north of the new Dowse Interchange, which should open to traffic early 2009.
As road works are ongoing throughout the site caution is required when travelling on this section of the state highway and it should be noted that speed restrictions of 50-70km/h apply.
The D2P Project has dedicated personnel to ensure that traffic management is carried out in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan and with minimal delays. For more information wisit the project website
