Physical Works & Professional Services Programmes

Civil Construction Projects Programme

The Civil Construction Projects Programme contains information on our current best estimates for tendering and evaluation periods for physical works contracts over the period of 2006/07 - 2010/11 (SHF5).

The programme includes all civil construction projects with an expected cost greater than $4million. 'Non-construction' projects are omitted from the programme, these being defined as projects where the majority of the works are not core civil engineering functions, rather traffic monitoring, metering & controls or projects where the scope of works is of a more mechanical & electrical nature (TDM, Toll systems etc).

The following information is also included within the programme:

  • The current expected and 95th percentile cost estimates, as defined within SM014 Cost Estimation Manual.
  • In addition to the 'most likely' dates for tender and evaluation, a range of potential dates where applicable as indicated by arrows.
  • A graphical representation of the total value of the monthly programmed workload.
  • A graphical representation of projects considered 'significant' by either value or importance. These are highlighted in yellow for ease of tracking tender and construction periods.

Professional Services Works Programme

The Professional Services Works Programme contains information on our current best estimates for tendering and evaluation periods for professional services contracts over the period of 2006/07 - 2010/11 (SHF5).

The programme includes all consultancy phases (Investigation, Design & MSQA), for projects with a physical works expected cost greater than $4million.

The following information is also included within the programme:

  • The current expected physical works cost estimate, as defined within SM014 Cost Estimation Manual.
  • Phase(s) to be tendered.
  • Proposed procurement route for engagement. (tendered, negotiated or awarded).
  • A graphical representation of the total value of the monthly programmed workload.
