SH1 Northern Motorway traffic bulletin: Monday 28 April ' Thursday 1 May
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closures for work on the Northern Motorway (SH1):
FULL MOTORWAY CLOSURE
Monday 28 April - Thursday 1 May

SH1 lanes southbound between Northcote Rd and Onewa Rd on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for bridge works.

Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp and Esmonde Rd southbound on-ramp will also be closed.
Diversion via Northcote Rd, Lake Rd and Onewa Rd southbound on ramp.
RAMP CLOSURES
ONEWA RD
Monday 28 April - Thursday 1 May

Onewa Rd northbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for services work and barrier preparation.
Diversion via Sylvan Ave, Lake Rd and Northcote Rd northbound on-ramp.
TRISTRAM AVE
Monday 28 - Wednesday 30 April (contingency 1 May)

Tristram Ave southbound off-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for paving and guardrail works.
Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp.
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
